Elapsed Fallibility

Life again pokes mewith its sticky fingers,Leaving behind its prints of numbness-The pattern of invisible lines,Hidden, within the creases of disappointment. Searching for the pulse of my contentmentRepulsively......finding all the things that I hold dear,Tarnishing them with the truth.Because everyone hides itthinking you can't deal,Or shame keeps it coveredAs if somehowthat stops if from being real. That is,Until it peeks out from under the coversThat fall below the edge of the bed,As the bogeymen come crawling outFrom underneath to join the parade,Making fools out of you and me. Everyday I lose more and morerepectAs the aspects keep changing,Feeling betrayed and cheated.... By the knowledge of weaknessesThat keep dancing around me,In the security of dark obscurityFleeing under the bed,as the lights click on Only.....To keep me disillusionedFor I’m too afraid to look under the bed.

I don't dare to look under the bed

Blue Halycon ( please what do you mean by this name, I am ignorant of its meaning? Not that i do not like it.) This is so excitingly theatrical, I can see all the bogeymen parading about in an absurd dance of despair of frustration and now I don't dare look under the bed either. Evocative. Ann of Norway
