Artistry

Within a sea of flesh and bones
Time collects our apathy,
Engraving upon our lives
A facade of solace and empathy.

For the many that never see
Any sort of skeletal comfort
Within their encrypted souls,

Untouchable.......

They write their intricate epitaphs
While looking through melting wax eyes,
Monastic words expressing Elysian desires,
Like rainbows estranged from light.

A darkness that shines
Becoming covered with dust,

Undisturbed.......

By their internal screams.

Well done...

The introduction to this poem "Within a sea of flesh and bones Time collects our apathy" is incredibly powerful and sets a magic tone for the remaining lines to rest within the structure... i also like the image of dust covering darkness....Artistry lives and breaths with this poem indeed...
