the morning green

early, the eyes of the sun awakes in the child
and upsets from the skies so mild
that children that were young once
can play while the youthful bood runs

green is the colour of the childish heart
that tresspass jolly through the fields mat
with the glee of innocense that becomes
when the wetness of the dew forms

blooming springs from childish chuckles
sproughts the willows from the tenderly bushes
then burst of laughter upsurges from the green
till the season is yellowing and grim

then down goes the sun-sets euphoria
fading into the eastern regions of india
and those nibbled lighted bones of theirs
are now smeared around their head as grey hairs

Emeka

This is good and refreshingly different coming from you.I especially like the way you have poetically expressed the progression of growing old.Thank you for this one.One correction though;innocense,is it intentional?
