Buy here Pay here, a love so cheap
A note that anyone can tote
It is sold to you, in as is condition

It's been around the block and some
It will start now and again
It heats up just fine

Will blow cool to cold air
Now and again, but no guarantees
It is built good and solid

A great model
Well desired back in it's day
Carry you well, it will

He had only one owner
She treated him well
Loved the old heap

Yes, it may look a wreak
But, the hell he went through
There at the end hardly driven at all

Sitting still all the day long
Long tedious nights
Flats and a broken  head light

But, with some tender loving care
He could be a collector's item
Will bring a good price , if you ever sell him

He just needs a good polish
Keep the love levels up
And shake those sheets off him now and again

A lot ta miles left in him
He'll give you a good ride
Go ahead take him for a test ride

About This Poem

About the Author

Region, Country: U.S. A. Indiana, Valparaiso, USA

Favorite Poets: Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Carl Sandburg these I have read some And so Many More. I have no Favorite or any that I dislike. Whom I consider to be poets; of course there are many Dark and hateful souls, who would cry out and to I will lend an ear, but some. They just leave a awful taste in my heart that I can not bear to read twice. Let alone as many times I would do normally; as I must.

I enjoyed this a lot. Seems to be a lot of double meaning in it. Almost as if the car and the man are one and the same. Cool! Respectfully, Rett: "Next time you think you're perfect, walk on water."

Rett I've tried to edit this one once or twice but ran out of

Time And then forget about it but comparing the man and the car was my intention. I'am short on funds again but, I need to hard copy this and correct it a bit make it flow a little better.I had it done a week ago and push the tmie limit so I lost all the corrections I made.I do try to read and comment on others works but, It doesn't leave me much time, as I have said before the berry's computers are free but, they lack freedom and the constraints of time and others useage. Thanks for the comment I do so apprecaite them all. Donnie/Sinbad
