Spare Me the Rod

Rahbar, What an elegant poem. I like it. The student teaches the teacher not to be stereotype and with closed mind and demonstrate vision in his approach. Learning is not confined to words. You drive the message home in a brilliant way. -Mohammad

Thank you Brother Yamin...

at least as poets we have an out let where we can channelize our helplessness into some kind of creative act....I dont know about other part of the world..but in India ..teaching has totally lost its noble color. And no body can do anything about it....your comment too encourages me..thanks again. Rahbar.

Rahbar

I spend winter months in Karachi every year. There the plight of students is no less. It seems that a conspiracy is going on in the region to turn the people into worthless illiterates. God help these countries.I dread to think of the future of these nations. -Mohammad Of faith and wisdom, confrontation you sought And many shallow arguments brought How can the flame of knowledge be quenched? By a drop of dew that you have got (Rubai'yat of Josh Malihabadi -A Drop and the Ocean)
