Can You See What I See
I see dandelions in the air
Blown by little girls
In wintertime
How could that be?
It's too cold outside
I see little boys
Chasing little girls
Around merry go rounds
How could that be?
I’m lying in bed
Writing this poem
I see babies
Taking their first steps
How could that be?
I all alone in this house
I see butterflies
Dance around gardeners
How could that be?
They’re all in cocoons
I see lovers
Dancing cheek to cheek
Doing the tangle
How could that be?
It’s about noon
How can I see?
These special things
All at once
Well, in my world
I can see
What I wanna see
