Out of kilter

I take my little pencil

I take my little pad

I write a little poem

Of the little thoughts I’ve had

They’re a little bit eccentric

They’re a little out of whack

They’re a little out of kilter

And a little bit off track

With this little bit of scribble

There is little that is free

But this little bit of scribble

Is a little piece of me
