Shades of Blue

Dark Blue

Light Blue

Powder Blue

Turquoise

 

How we used to quarrel over turquoise

Because you always said it was blue

 

Cobalt

Aquamarine

Sapphire

Lapislazuli

 

Can you please remind me

Which colour is a scarab beetle?

 

Lilac

Mauve

Violet

Purple

 

I forget if it was blue or red

That butterflies can see in flowers

 

Sky Blue

Navy Blue

Deep Blue

Ocean Blue

 

But the water is often grey

Is grey a shade of blue?

 

Or does it depend on your point of view?
