The Differinitions of Hope
Hope should not be a chapter from the book of Luck;
and I believe I know a little about hope
and it's three differinitions.
Firstly, there's the immature version
that's merely wishful thinking;
which is purely the saddest version of them all.
Secondly, we have the, "hope springs eternal" version.
The one that tries to honor hope's essence,
yet still involves the will of the hopeful,
but can hypnotize said "one" into a false belief.
This hope may seem real,
but is merely a type of fool's gold,
and only has a slightly better chance of not letting one down.
Finally, there's the third and truest differinition of hope,
and it involves both faith and reasonable expectations.
A good example of this, the wisest adaption of this emotional entity,
would be the hope of a woman with child.
Think about it. Merely hoping for something
doesn't even warrant the emotional workout,
that would precede the inevitable disappointment.
But to hope with both, knowledge and preparation,
making what's hoped for reasonable and attainable;
well, that faith alone, makes this hope,
the most magical version of hope that there is.
So when there's hope at all in your life,
remember to keep the faith.
and I believe I know a little about hope
