Christmas Quarreling

Living with no friends
would literally be a bore,
In my mind's eye, solitary confinement
'twould be too big a chore;

and then to brave the elements
when the seasons dare to change,
would lend an eye towards shelter
so your life you'd rearrange;

and with no one to borrow from
there'd be no funds to lend,
this year's been quite the weird one,
there's snow in the desert, once again.

Just think of what I'm speaking of
know what I say is true,
this is a place where the average day
is Fahrenheit 102!

That doesn't explain the climate
of how weird things've been, of late;
it's been strange enough that one can't get
their friends and enemies.....straight.

So Christmas Quarreling with loved ones
seems to be the latest trend,
of course, that's how one knows they're loved..
..there's snow in the desert once again.

Hey what a great classic

So glad I spend time and read lonely uncommented poems when I am lonely and feel like commenting this is a fine observation and a great poem to the trend in the new millenium

Thanks, Orgami...

....sorry for not replying sooner. I'm more than equally glad that you "ran accross" this lone "diddy". Your words are my reward. Take care, #{:>{)}+/ doc.
