Desire

You are the one I’ve waited for

You are my hearts desire

You are the one I’m longing for

To quench this raging fire

This is the love I’ve dreamed of

To last eternally

You are my one true passion
 My steaming mug of tea

Hi shazbat,

Don't let your wife read this or she may become jealous! (If you are married, that is...) Thanks to your last two poems people all over the world are going to think we Brits are totally obsessed with tea. What about beer? What about fish and chips? Best wishes, Robert.

Richard, a good hot cup of tea is the great British panacea, it can warm you up or cool you down, ease your pain and reverse your frown. My gran used to think it was the answer to all of lifes little problems. Thanks for reading and for your comments too. Regards John
