Commemorative Coins from Obamaland

HEY! The new emperor's finally here!
And he's still wearing his own clothes;
Lending credence to the fact, that he's not as dense, as our last one.

However, his other traits must remain "suspect";
for those traits remain to be seen.

For instance,what of this man's integrity?
Will he succeed in keeping all of his promises...
..or will they merely fade away, like a cheap scarf in the noon day sun?

That, my friends...only time will tell;
and then, we'll run around telling each other!

And what about this man, and his Commemorative Coin sets?
They're Official enough, and even quite handsome.
But he hasn't done anything.....yet!

AHhhh....but,it does seem to make some "sense".
For, his platform and his campaign promises were, after all.....all about "change"!

Hi ther,

I think Obama will TRY to keep his promises, but will circumstances let him do so? There isn't likely to be much money left with which to do anything, as most of it has gone to the banks and the car industry as well as to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's the impression we have here in Europe at least. By the way, I think commemorative coin sets are a waste of money. They usually hang around in people's drawers or lofts for decades until one day they are sold to an antique dealer for less than they cost in the first place! Best wishes, Robert.
