God Laments

Do you think it was Caylee
you found decomposing
in the lush Florida greenery,
her pink shoe next to the heart
of one nation under grief?

What kind of love lives
in the time of cholera,
in the time of malaria?
Where in the world is Myanmar, the Congo,
Zimbabwe and Palestine? Does anyone
know which way the crow flies?

Oh humanity, let my people go!
This is not my bitter pill to swallow.

I gave you a lifetime.

Life is something

Life is something else..isn't it? Nothing one can think about it will ever change it...though it changes with every thought. ~A "Speech is blasphemy. Silence a lie. Above speech and silence is a way out." I-tuan.

I truly feel it's not a lack of morality.. it's a mental illness... no mother in her right mind could do such a thing... or stranger. Truly sad this world... yet there's always hope. ~A "Speech is blasphemy. Silence a lie. Above speech and silence is a way out." I-tuan.

when I first read this, I found I was unable to comment. Patty is right in saying it is a disturbing piece...What really haunts me is your last line...To me, it says that every life has to end and we can never be sure when or how the grim reaper strikes...And then all the injustice you bring to mind with this piece... Not enjoyable, but true. I do admire people who are not afraid to speak the truth, ID

I come by it naturally, so to speak... my whole life has been *attending to awareness*... one can't help but see a pattern. And speak out. ~A "Speech is blasphemy. Silence a lie. Above speech and silence is a way out." I-tuan.
