Christmas Haikus

Christmas tree with many lights
         Golden star on top
Happy children Christmas morn

Old fashioned Christmas with snow
          Yule Time log alight
Gifts wrapped with love under tree

*************************************

Santa soon to come to town
  Knows if you've been bad
Coal in your stocking for you

Nice mixture of funny and serious. Really liked the last one best! Doesn't coal stain the inside of the stocking, though? :~) ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- - "Does Rudolph fail the safety inspection if his nose is burnt out? And where does he go? I don't think he'd fit in the bay at the Jiffy Lube." Happy holidays, y'all!

Yes, but if you have been really bad, your socks are probably dirty anyway. Thanks for reading, Jess

It's beginning to read

a lot like Christmas at neopoet I know. Just as long as my monitor doesn't get snow. Enjoyed them Linda. Respectfully, Rett: "For all you Scrooges who don't like Santa Claus or the true meaning of Christmas, BAH HUMBUG! For the rest of you, MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Rett

I put my tree up day after Thanksgiving. I love this time of year. Never thought about snow on your monitor. Thank you for reading and commenting.
