*~ Death of a Goddess ~*

Icy death kissed beauty's warm cheek

Shadows of the River Styx become her haunted face

At the gates of divinity she pays her penance

With hell fire strength and angelic allure she walks

Forever frozen in mortality she now waits

Gasping in farewell ecstasy

Nicely done, M'Lady!

I really like this one! A touch of the darkness here with subtle overtones of loneliness and madness combined! All in all, a very good read!

agreeing with ink,

but adding: walking in angelic allure an alliteration fit for a fallen goddess. the character is fascinating. I would like to find out more about this goddess! would you consider more poems about her? let me know if you do. kata
