if crisis are not revolved

when a farmer sets a mouse trap
to control the rodents that eat the tap
when his son comes to reap from the fields
unknowing to him the trap has no emotion

when the farmer sets the trap
to control the moles, and the rat
he has not told his son its whereabout
so his feet dangles dangerously in that area

now his feet is caught inbetween
the conflict of the rat and the farmer
but he that bleeds for this course
is the innocent offspring born into tumult

the trap makes no feet selection
it is not made to use its discretion
so while it is ruthless in its duties
it's only carrying out its singular aim
