False Beauty
I see beautiful women everyday
But they mean nothing, only images in my eyes
As you are the culmination of all that is true, beauty, soul, and love
As I have seen you a million times, I would kill to see you only once more
Instead of all these false figures, illusions of possibilities I can’t fathom
Nothing of truth comes from their eyes,
Nor their words, which fall like leaves in the wind
Now their skin, false security for the night
As I see you, feel you, hear you,
Your heart radiates truth
Every time beauty strikes, I turn my eyes, for their lies deceive the smartest of men
