Shared Dream

With our hands full from Mother Nature's
attempts at suicide,
we'd best get an understanding
before all the worlds collide;
or we end up killing ourselves
from mutual genocide.

Don't ignore or swat at me
as if I were a bug,
as a passive/aggressive people
I don't like the hole we've dug;
we need to pull ourselves together
so don't roll your eyes and shrug.

The happenings on this planet
are definitely picking up steam,
but wasting time finding who's to blame
doesn't put us on one team;
and don't say that's impossible
for we share the exact same dream...

..peace and freedom for everyone
without stepping on each other's toes,
creating safe and sane tomorrows,
while steering clear of innuendos;
because our children are our future
as everyone well knows.

Complaining will only frustrate us
putting us at the end of our rope,
but we really need some answeres
so that we'll be able to cope;
so it seems pulling together
is really our only hope.

It appears...

..that I was "venting", in some sort of way. The word "bravo" comes from the word "brave". Sorry. That really wasn't me being "brave". I DID feel it, when I wrote it. lol, doc.
