Juanita's Parlor (Comedy)

Juanita's Parlor

In a little cafe
down Juarez way
the lady was catching her breath
I kissed her some more
we went to the door
then up the stairs to her room

All in good time
I knew she was mine
but fell the hand of doom
She turned around
shoving me down
upon that cushiony bed

I was out like a light
and late in the night
I woke up feeling distressed
She was long gone
and all that I had on
was just my underwear

I was chagrined
I thought I had been
a man with such savoir fare
I was put in my place
by one lovely face
and taught a lesson so rare

Oh, brothers beware
for the lady down there
can read you just like a book
If you should dare
to ever go there
you'll be like a fish on a hook

People will stare
You'll be left bare
and they'll laugh at the sight
you'd best stay away
don't you dare stray
to Juanita's Parlor at night

My heart is broken
for I took a soakin'
from a woman smarter than sin
and if I could
I think that I would
get her drunk when I see her again!

LOL!

Wayyy too much detail for it to be a farce. I think this truly happened... don't mess with Juanita! Good, entertaining write, Rett. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- - "If the S.W.A.T team breaks down your door, do they have to replace it later?" - "If you don't pay your exorcist, do you get repossessed?"

Sometimes comedy doesn't come across quite as well as intended. Basically, the premise behind this is a man going to a Prostitute's bar and thinking he is "the man" and when he goes upstairs with the woman, she slips him a knockout drink and he passes out. She then steals his clothes and money and leaves him in nothing but his underwear. He is quite embarrassed to be taken for a fool when he thought he was the smart one. Hope that makes it a bit more understandable. Will check out yours as soon as possible. Thank you my friend.
