Vagabond/Revised Part 2 added

1.

Spirit

I am a vagabond
at home wherever I am,
deep inside the dreamer
in her walkabout,
I am learning how to donate
well-used parts
of me
through a pen
bleeding with the lust of life
that shall write of This
until I have shed
this mortal coil,
and I am no more.

2.

Gilded Cage

It's taken many years of silence
for me to speak,
even if the flesh was willing,
my spirit was weak,
and so snowflakes fall in the
winter of 2008,
here in the heartland
where my vagabond soul
is set free
from her gilded cage.

It's taken an eternity to
dig up my past.

Thank you all for reading

Thank you all for reading and sharing your thoughts. I love the group soul *poet*, so to speak. It's a wild & crazy blend of, often disembodied ;-) spirits. Much love to all. ~A Understanding is a perfect snowflake, melting. Anna Ruiz
