Three Wise Men

By night they rode their beasts of burden
Footsteps were slow, and all in accord
As if to a silent beat of a drum

To follow the star shinning above
To see the newborn King
Bearing gifts of frankincense and gold

For the heavenly babe, born as foretold
Three Wise Men of the journey of old
Of the First Christmas, about to become

Halleluiah, Halleluiah
To find the babe in humble peace
And lay their gifts down at his feet

This story was written so long ago
And told and retold in glory and hope
Of the child that was born that day

Into the world from heaven above
To be our Savior and Lord
This hallowed babe they did behold

Hallelluiah, Halleluiah

Well done, that story

always puts chills up and down my spine. Glory unto Him. Respectfully, Rett: "Did you ever notice that the politicians who want to ban gun ownership are the very ones that should be shot anyway?" Rett: 2008
