Tree of Damnation

climbing clear of the mundane
 trappings of materialism
and the stench and vomit of the
greed motivated capitalists
the shallow emotionless
sharp suited but never cute
if they were trees then poison
would curse their fruit

Always look forward to one of your works Lenny

Sharp and unmitigated truth, Reminds me of the joke about the businessman who sells his soul to the devil for wealth. The devil demands his soul, his wife's, their childrens and the family dog's. The buso replies "OK, but what's the catch?" cheers, Jess

ah yes

if only we could escape our trappings, eh? There's an awesomely named little patch of land called "Inaccesible Island" just north of the Antarctic Circle. If I ever disappear for a year or more, I might be there, lol! Mark W.
