Beauty

I looked at her across the room

Her beauteous looks

Fair made me swoon

Her golden hair

Her naked thigh

Were enough

To make me sigh.

I looked at her

She looked me

Only beauty

Could I see.

I tried so hard

Not to look

Immersed myself

In a book

Temptation was

Too hard to bear

Couldn’t help

But sit and stare

Then finally

Some recognition

Could this come

To fruition

She rolled her eyes

Not being slack

I picked them up

And rolled them back
