medoicre men

these cunny government
they have their taxes,
they have meagre pension for retirement
they have government schools for the masses
but the reason all this is set
is to fit the middle men into this confinement

and when it comes to tenancy
they build flats all the same
for mediocre men to fill up the vacancy
and you,you are not to blame
if you ended up much alike
as the mound they try to make of you

they are fit into a mediocre street
even men of uncompromising talent
even men of towering wit
the government gives them houses on rent
and expects by their lifes end
they should be confined in boxes of mediocrity
