Slipshod Freedom

Like a treehouse built by kids
who had too many boards
and too few nails
our state of affairs leans to the side
in a tired sort of way.
The youngsters will have their father
to set their efforts straight
but who is going to help us
rebuild and restructure
our treehouse?

Very nice Dwarf

I liked this a lot, : My advise, when you need something take it out of the box, but put it away, this is the long stress less process. Did you see snow yet? it snowed here this weekend. On top of my leaves... LOL. Have fun settling in you two.... Love ya, Patty

Thanks, Patty

I was talking about our country, though, not our tornado-strewn apartment... LOL! Shhhhhh.... s**w is a swear word. It's plenty cold, but no white stuff yet - thankfully. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. I am not that uptight kind of person, you can say shit all you want. Just don't ever say GD. Just advise for my friend. Love ya, Patty

Good write Jess

So true, so very true. I think I post my predictions on my blog later or tomorrow. Respectfully, Rett: "Life is like a beach. Salty, gritty, somewhat fishy and at other times, downright crabby" Rett: 2008

A splendid little poem!

You've said a lot with very few words. When a family is shattered, things could be arranged in such a way to give minimum discomfort. With break-up of marriage freedom could be gained, but what a lot to lose, too; especially the sufferings of the innocent third parties. For a child, a father or a mother who lives some where out there that comes forward only when he needs some assistance would not suffice. The childhood is not complete, if every second of it is not shared with both the parents.(Hope I didn't talk too much!) I'm highly taken up with this work of yours for you've spoken about the reality of life. I love the legnth of the poem, too. Best Regards, Nilmini
