Down Pour

being so close,
so separated
millions of them
between us
alive in themselves
lost to our senses
yet they knew
the distance
between two lovers
is but a fall away
vanished across
time’s face
dispersed
into thin air
yet never gone
only silently
waiting
to yet again
descend
between us
in that slow,
hard, fevered
summer rain

the wind before the rains

yes the climax of rain and wind teeming down blowing against the glass soaking the skin the garment reach out feeling them lashing against the palms the wind pulling against the body singing on everything its touching This is a beautiful poem
