1.

When Love Calls

When Love calls
will i be too drunk
with forgetfulness?

will i lie down with Love's
first thrust and open myself
fully to the sun
in lotus position,
vine-like feet
drowning in the distance
of mud and water,
10000 lifetimes
attached to the fire in our loins
like awakening serpents,
deep in the lair of middle earth

so precious are we,
My Beloved,
the few
willing to lose ourselves
in this dance we know so well,
this dance of Kundalini awakening,
tearing our soul in two,
arrows,
we bless the sky.

2.

One Temple

There is only one temple here
in it we are lost and bleeding sheep,
bleating for our daily bread,
forget we, forget we not our trespasses
tear a petal off a bright summer daisy,
chains and
links to the center of our own prison ~
volition bites the finger
pointing at the moon,
breathing skies of emptiness,
we worship words
falling in water
catch a drop
high atop a mountain stream.

3.

They Told Me

They told me you were dead
a samurai should never fall
silent in his bed,
you were stopped
in the instant your hand
reached to clutch your heart
and I had dreams of walls
I could never climb

they took you away
in sheets stained
with my loneliness,
one heart-breath
filled with a nightingale's
song of longing,
we had not Spring blossoms
to give one another
no passion fruit to taste,
no soft pillow to lay our heads
upon
after
the lovemaking,
you died and i lived
my Geisha face
is all worn off,
my sword i return
to its sheath,
all i have left
is this seppuku of words
and the silence the ocean speaks.

4.

Circle

near the circle
the arc is unbroken
we are gliding past
all these stars

your face,
golden with sunlight
the blue in your eyes
thawing
my heart.

5.

Your Eyes

they say
the windows to the soul
are in eyes that are
so beautiful
one is captured
for all time,
now a tear
falling,
now an ocean.

6

Parting

 You came from the sea,
I from the stars
we met briefly
behind the big rock
where seals were basking
in the sun

we parted
but never left.

Anna...

a heart-warming experience for me to read such a write... as I feel all six are related to your "Michael"... he must've been a very happy man. I thank you for sharing this with us... Kundalini awakening I had to look up... it intrigued me... and now I want to feel it... You are such a unique individual I can feel your glow through your writing... glad you are here... thanks Richard

Hi Moonman, it’s a strange

Hi Moonman, it's a strange poem... I wrote all but one on one poetry site: Poetry Chaikhana.. except for Nos. 1 & 3, all were word dances with other poets. Rereading it this morning, it is amazing how they all seem to relate perfectly to *Michael* and to *awakening*. Love. ~A

Six More

If I am correct and that Michael left he held your love as always and ever but did not take it He shared all those things with you and you now are so lucky above all that you can carry these things. A bit of history is needed before I say more, as all Ican see with you is a loss of a soul mate and the world you shared, Yours, Ian
