Angry Love

1.

What be the difference between love and anger
i ask the wind uncommon
ushered away i
across
deserts near and far,
of ceaseless thoughts,
am i not welcome here in this strange new land
where mind is lost
with indignation?

Nay, i settle in for longest night
freezing breath upon my lips,
i my refuge take
inside cactus yellow,
with the drink of angels,
thirsting,
mortal with wounds of flesh

2.

from where comes this angry sea
churning like the tempest storm,
burn a plume of
emptiness,
O what dear sacrificial lamb
when led to slaughter?

3.

destiny strikes the holy cord, a distant
gong does
inside me
deeply
resonnate
memory falls on deafened ears

4.

anger crimson red
a rose unfolding
truly
shows
a head of thorns
a rage within
a rage

a rage
against the light

expand i now
to contraction’s point
the iceberg
freed from cold cold sea

5.

bliss, sweet bliss,
sweet sweet tender bliss
is all there is
inside
empty place
there is no one home
to open doors
there is no door
for passing through

6.

shattered
light is everywhere
the vessel
sails
in raptured heart

Whoa

This Is your best work that i have seen among your previous excellent works. This is so captivating. It goes beautiful along the way. You got to teach me how to produce a piece as resonating as this.Very good imagery with vivid descriptions. The image successfully breaths air to the piece. GREAT DAY SMILE ZARUL EXCELLENT WORK, MY FRIEND

Anna,

I love the transitions of love here. Searching for an out/escape. this line is my favorite: "expand i now to contraction’s point the iceberg freed from cold cold sea" The word iceburg = iceberg or ice burg. (spell check) I truly got caught up in this as I read. I always get pulled in by your beautiful expressions! thanks, Eddie "if while I'm drunk I go visit my ex love to winner her back, is that angry love"

thank you zarul… all i can

thank you zarul... all i can say is be open to be able for the transition of feelings to words and thoughts to silence. Eddie.... i awakened at 1:30 is with the poem....having thought about anger and wrote it directly on poetrychaikhana... usually my spelling is spot on...and this time it wasn't... shit... i'm not perfect (?) how quaint... how droll. lol yes.. those were my favourite lines, too. hugs U2, ~A

always full of expression, Anna

Beautiful, soft and sharp at once. For the first time I see a few things that might grammatically trip me up (and I see you wrote this very early, which probably contributes to the fact). "i asked the uncommon wind as it blows me away" - would "ask" be proper here, or is there something in the way I'm reading it? "thirsty with the drunk of angels" also catches me, I think the meaning is there, just the language use seems odd. "resonnate" - "resonates"? Aren't you glad I stopped by? love ~ Ronda

Anna

This is a beautiful piece. It does bother me that you use a small i, instead of capital I.
