APPLAUSE Applause! Take a bow The show is over Now. It was a long run You were superb At times you did have fun No? Never missed a noun or a verb. Perfect enunciation. No one could tell You walked across stage Proud and Tall Do you think I would ever let you Fall? The Comedy has come to its end Time To rest on your laurels As they say. Relax, my friend Enjoy each brand new day There is always room For a new play Here Where The audience will be A familiar face or three Or more….
