Love of Candy Corn

Love of Candy Corn

Candy corn my favorite sweet
Made with sugar, corn syrup, and honey
Decant a drop of carnauba wax, and
Pour on the water cooked into slurry
Add the fondant polishing the texture, and
Saturate with marshmallow giving a soft bite
Heat the tasty blend pour into the molds
With tricolored section
Now here is my favorite treat
First made by hands now by machine

candy corn

Candy corn is about the only candy I like, and I like this little poem; it's sweet. Sorry about the pun. I particularly like the last sentence, which of course, makes it a little bit sad--and makes it a poem. Yours, Donna

thanks for commenting. i love candy corn so i went on line to get its origin and decided i would write the recipe down and make it a recipe/poem. I happy to see it came out so well. glad you like it. i am climbing new poetic mountains these days such as writing acrostic poems not easy, but is becoming fun and easier as i practice practice practice and post for feedback on improvements. Respectfully Yours, Barbara
