THE WILL OF GOD

THE WILL OF GOD When the storm rages onBeyond our controlOr seemingly so, we sayIt is the will of God, by thisWe over look the lacunaA misnomer of some sortWhere man awards and confersUnwittingly, human qualitiesOn God, with purposeful desiresAnd set HIM on the path of wantThat creates lack and need, unimaginedYet, God is everything, all in oneNothing else exist outsideThis complete and perfect Being

good poem mate

We believers in a universal lifeforce are often guilty of anthropomorphism, we sometimes attribute good and evil as if we knew and how can we know anything unless we know everything. Anyway well done mate.

Thank you very much...

The poem queries that which we refer to as 'the will of God' and seeks explanation to the study of the purpose of things. Thank you and best wishes T.

will of g poem

T,R,...A nicely controled expession about the unimaginable. No ranting, no raving. I'm a long time believer that anybody who says they have the final word on this subject, doesn't. wcw

Teleology...

WCW The study of purpose of things has been an intriguing subject to me. Man must discover his purpose in order to give life a meaning. The one I find a little hard to understand, is when we assign desire, purpose and will to God, the origin of the universe. I don't want to query any religious precepts and why men do things they consider the 'will of God' or act in God's name. If this God is complete and perfect, should He desire, wish and will anything? I am looking for answers. I will gladly listen to suggestions with the hope that I will be lucky to find these answers. Thank you for stopping by to read and comment. Best wishes. T.
