Jumping on the Bed

Oh my, 'tis a wonderful story
and so many tears of joy are shed,
when the pixies and children hear the words,
"It's getting late, kids! It's time for bed!"

Because the strangest thing then happens.
The children get this energy, it seems;
and the pixies then lure them up on their beds,
where they start bouncing, with giggles and screams!

I've seen this thing happen everywhere.
In fact, wherever I've gone;
and those same pixies have done it outside with the kids,
where they've invented somersaults, out on the lawn.

So the next time the children start dancing around,
and jumping and playing's a must;
just let them be, it's not all their fault
for they've been sprinkled with pixie dust!

lol

I oftentimes wish I could jump on the bed again. I daresay that 138 pounds would break it, though. Guess I'll have to keep my jumping and antics on the ground. *pouts* Outstanding children's poem here, Doc. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"The fortunes of fables are able To see the dawn Now witness the quickness with which We get along To sing the blues you've got to live the dues and Carry on." - CSN&Y
