An Acrostic Attempt

Go ahead,
Reap what you sow,
And after wards
Not only your blessings will grow.
Dread not
People, places, and things;
And always treasure whatever
another day brings;
grateful is my heart
and so full is my soul,
in what once made me "hollow",
now I've been made whole.
Too bad about my yesterdays
If ever I could say,
My head bows down to what could've been
Even, come what may.
Say it isn't so,
that so different it would be,
however we partake of the fruit,
reaped solely from one tree.
everlastingly,
ever more.

umm

If you capitalize every first letter, the acrostic might become more apparent. I had a very difficult time piecing it together. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"They gave you life, and in return you gave 'em hell. Ahh

Grandpa a giant times three. Got it. Technically, not an acrostic, as the title should also be the acrostic (in this case, the title should be grandpa a giant times three) I did the same thing with my first try as well, so don't feel bad. At least you're out there trying, and that's what matters. Oh! Meant to tell you that I recieved (finally) the 2009 copy of Poet's Market. Have been working semi-diligently with the highlighter marker trying to find prospective magazines and such. Thanks so much for the tips! ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"So you stand on the corner in your new English clothes, and you look so polished from your hair down to your toes. Ah, but still your finger's gonna pick your nose after all." - Billy Joel

In my elation...

....I guess I failed at my first attempt at an acrostic. It reads, "Grandpa again, times three." It really shouldn't have taken THAT much concentration. My grandson, "Ace" is doing fine, however...and I'm informed that he could care less, at my feeble attempt. LoL. #{:>0)+ doc.
