Tranquility

Darkness of the night
Hold me in your velvet ams

Whisper gently to my heart
That I may not be afraid of thee

Let me sleep in tranquility
And dream of lovely things

Let my soul run safely free
To see the wonderous galaxy

With a lover sweet to hold my hand
And dance with me amongst the stars

As the full and golden moon
Glows and softly lights our midnight sky

While we embrace and whisper words of love
Sweet darkness of the night

Grant me sleep in tranquility
