Two Red Robin

Two Red Robin

I watched two red robins, males I presume

In the grass along the roadway

Startled by the roaring of my engine

They played tag into the underbrush

I suppose they were eating

Getting buff for lady robin

They’ll build nests to impress

Fluff those wings with pride

Sing songs to serenade her

Barbara,

Hey, your a good looking lady! Your poem reminded me of two guys hanging out at the corner talking about the lady they want to conquer. This was a cute poem

Thanks Eddie

Appreciate the compliment. I wrote this on the way to see my neurologist today. Two red birds flew into the woods as we drove by one behind the other. I immediately grab my laptop and started typing. Glad you enjoyed the it. PS got medicine for my pain today, one at night. Seems my problem with falling may be in my right ear. running more test. Respectfully Yours, Barbara

Glad you enjoyed the poem. One of my favorite writes as robins are beautiful birds and I love watching them. Though I'm not a bird watcher per say. Respectfully Yours, Barbara
