Autumn Love

In the autumn of my life

Never thought I'd find a wife,

least of all,

One as beautiful as you,

You are my inspiration

And I have an obligation

To love you till forever

Yes its true

You're my harbour in the storm

You,re the fire that keeps me warm,

And as certain as the sea

breaks on the shore,

You took this broken man

Made him happy once again

And every day

I love you more and more

Excellent write

Love at whatever age is wonderful. You capture it well. I would like to make a suggestion... both the your in the second stanza should be you're. Well done. Respectfully, Rett: "We can all be thankful that Picasso wasn't a plastic surgeon." Rett

Thanks Rett, Ive now fixed

Thanks Rett, Ive now fixed it. I would like to say that it was a deliberate mistake but, hands up, I admit that I missed those, trouble is, I rushed this one, as I wanted it for my wifes birthday today, and had to get it done before she got home. I,m happy to report that she liked it too. Thanks again for your kind comments. John:
