Humanation

Year-end shopportunities
seem with us all year 'round,
we're living in the land of Disney
where our feet don't touch the ground.

The problem with our problems
isn't left, and it's not right;
it's not even as cut and dried
as being day, or being night.

Puppets are what we've on parade,
choices are decidedly few;
the faces and the names have changed,
and nothing about them's really new.

Humanation is a problem
for we'll never really know,
which way is really "up" for all
and which way we aught to go.

Jaded, is our youth, I'd say;
our examples are the same;
tired are our colors,
the Stars and Stripe's, the only game.

Being everything to all of us
isn't necessarily "fun";
what always seems to happen
is you're nothing, to everyone.
