HARVEST OF RATS The joke goes on to say That a machine was invented To catch thieves, unique it was In its application, its mode And operation, we were told Taken round many countries The world over, catching thieves In hundreds and in thousands Great success, it was astonishing But when it was brought here A bizarre thing happened The machine was stolen These stealing games, of machine And of human in electronic fraud Nine days, they say, is for the thief And one day for the owner So it was for the stealing rats Stealing from us all along They stepped on the glue trap On their pathway, a corridor To the feasting arena, a paradise They saw with their own eyes But could not enter there in
