Who is
outside the mirror
of self-reflection
is it you or I?

Is the moon

Are you ...

Are you there? If not, who is it? There. Not here; there. Right there, I mean. In front of me. If no one, what's wrong. With. My. Eye? Or is it what's behind my eye that needs repair/overhaul? (I mirror myself in all that I see. There oughta be a better way. My way gets me too often mired in a truckload of problems.) I esp. like how you equate mirror with self-reflection. Thanx, Chuck

Self reflection, well illustated in a short but very well written poem. You made me think! :-) Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

I do believe

the moon is reflected in the sea AND the sea is in my eye. Curious thing - your questions are "or's" but the answers are "and's". This is a problem we have so often in life - forcing "or's", rejecting "and's". Is it good or bad? Yes. This poem is perfect as is and speaks directly to my heart. So, I'm afraid I must break my (flexible) rule and vote . . .

(a 4. something (not exactly sure how this rating system works)... before I had a perfect 5 now i'm a 4.3) Laughing all the way to the house of ill-disputed votes. Some of my poems are koanesque, although I am nondual... it's always AND btw. izzat u on pinano? (as my daughter said when she was 2) ~A

Good-

I don't like the rating scale. Some people tend to extremes and some people, such as myself, see most things in shades of "3". I have to be bowled over to vote.
