home on earth

Drilling, constantly drilling
Digging, still digging,
trying to reach that which
brings me to me,

Digging in the wrong
direction to find
enlightenment,
the foundation has
already been set in my hell,

The frame work is already
there, with it's stairs leading
to where my heaven waits,

Where does my
enlightenment lie, or has
it all been a waste of time,

Now I see that for me it's not
Heaven or it's not Hell, it is the
center of where I've always
been,
right here Home on earth!

Drilling on earth for enlightenment. The work going on in the earth will and has been found out. Respectfully Yours, Barbara

Barbara,

I don't know what you mean? but Drilling and digging are metafore for the search of truth that we do every day, i use drilling and digging because whose are extremely difficult. So please explain your comment. thanks, Eddie

Sorry for the confusion I obviously didn't understand your poem. My interpretation is unimportant at this point. Would be hard to explain it as I don't want to give your poem my understanding want to know your passion in this fine piece. Truth we do everyday--what is the truth? Whose are extremely difficult--what is difficult? Nice poem, your meaning is vague to me would enjoy being enlighten by this Respectfully Yours, Barbara

Barbara,

It's like this for me I've searched in every direction looking for enlightenment, And then it came a time when I thought that my enlightenment would be in Heaven, but then i realized that Hell was more then likely where I would go. then I had an epiphany, it is here right here on earth where you become enlightened. to reach a heaven, or even approach it, you must be enlighten. that's all I was trying to say. But you see it was my mistake, when I got to work I thought about your comment and you were right on, it is here on earth! thanks, Eddie

Dude that Tiger is freaky....

Ya ain't gonna find anything digging down, because you're looking in the wrong direction. All the answers are above you - or so it is believed.
