A Country Heaven

A Country Heaven

Living on the back creek
Chit’lins on the grill
Drinking whiskey in the night
Squirrels watching overhead
For the crumbs left behind.

Ribs on the fire
Dancing under moonlight
Listening to the music
Far into the midnight
Living a country paradise.

The band playing songs
That makes a heart cry
For more tunes being sung
Like a country heaven

Chitlins?! Good Lord, girl! Hope the squirrel holds out for the ribs, and not them... Got a nice visual of gettin' tanked in front of the fire with friends - eating our bbq, and laughing at sauce smears on our faces. Nice write. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- - "Everyone needs to believe in something.
