Mystical bond.

Mystical bond. This is not the end of the storyif you are still looking for gloryyou have to beat every one to bendsand create your own trends. How can you call every one a cheat?actually there is no one but your self to beatyou can only return to your top formif you are willing to save others from harm. And then this can be your winning daywhen all false feats of claywill breakup and get evenon a fast track frozen. The pangs of your lonely heartwaking up every night with a startand then in the day going back to slumbergetting up from fall and again stumble. Oh it is you who has to be blamedselling the spirit for a physical gamestretching for the known devils handunable to sustain the hidden mystical bond. By:-Rahbar. By:- Rahbar.

Interesting!

...I read it several times and still not sure if I understood it correctly...did you mean with the "mystical bond" a bond that connects us to God?

YOU ARE RIGHT.

Hello Amal...Thanks for your comment...this poem is basically based upon the random, troubling thoughts...a sitauation... which I think every poet goes through one time or another..."mystical bond" here is connection with God.regards, Rahbar.

Mystical Bond

In your poem you seem to be beautifully analysing your own self -you are reassuring yourself untill you reach the climax of your search i.e Mystical Bond. You have captured your vieled feelings very well and in enchanting words. It has triggered my thought to recollect one of the Quatrains from my book Rubai'yat of Josh Malihabadi - A Drop and the Ocean, which I quote below: It torments me when wine stirs in the cup In every breath my soul burns up Wine from your cup, O curiosity! Doesn't quench my thirst The hunger for knowledge eats me for sup. Keep writing. -Mohammad

Your bond with JOSH.

Hello Mohammad...your comment is spot on....JOSH seem to have influenced you greatly...I too had come across two poems of Josh recently..one is about Malihabad and another one an unpublished poem about Urdu,,recited by Dilip Kumar in a gathering...extremely inspired poetry ....Thanks again for your comment. Rahbar.

No, doubt I am inspired greatly by Josh - most of all his Rubai'yat. That is why I translated 300 of it and published them in form of a book. They are all quotable Rubai'yat. Regards. Mohammad
