Separation

Come loneliness and press
yourself against my bosom,

Take the life within me and
stop it's course,

Let the darkness over take me,
and bleed me of all my loss,

Is it not easier to give up than
to put up a fight,

Adversary come now, I am here
with open arms,

Fare in hand, he waits for me
upon the River Styx"s,

He stands there on the bank
and will not cross until we meet,

Come now, while I am weak, and
like a child listening to a lullaby
I will fall asleep,

to awaken with my love,
upon the River Styx"s

Excellent write Eddie

He always comes to us when we are weak. I have had many setback since my illnesses and yet I seem to have a stubborn will to overcome. Maybe one day we shall meet, but if it is at the River Styx, I will not be there without a fight and still fighting as I cross. Well done sir, very well done. This is awesome. Your faith and determination is quite an inspiration. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- - "Everyone needs to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer!" - "Due to budget cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off."

Jess,

You better stop using big words, it's not what I expect from veggies without carrots. LOL Thank you I'm humbled by your comment Jess. I don't know where to go from here, again thanks, Eddie -Hey what B.S. is this, I paid my Bill- -I want a bailout-

Eddie I like this poem

There is something mysterious about it, but I think you have inner strength that comes from when we are quiet and listening... thats what I got from it... a little peace, Patty

Patty,

That's a good read, because that's where my strength comes from, that voice deep inside of me, that can only be heard in my stillness Thanks Patty for stopping by and your comment. Eddie
