A poem for Grandpa

A few weeks ago I had a mild heart attack,
while I was in the hospital my granddaughter
wrote a poem for me and I had debated with
myself weather to post it, but I just read it again,
and again I was moved by it so here it is,
but remember I'm bias.

What I see in grandpa
is someone really nice
and a really smart person.
Also I see a hard worker.
He is always there for me,
brain, and Beba. He is helpful
to the whole family. he actually
helped the country because
he used to work in the armey
but, he retired. Now he works
as a doorman he is still helpful
He writes great poetry. He
made us bank account for our
money too.He is a good man

Aww that is sweet

Out of the mouths of children come profound truths. Respectfully, Rett: "We can all be thankful that Picasso wasn't a plastic surgeon." Rett

This is so sweet. Frame it and put it on the wall. That little girl just called her grandpa a hero. I hope you have recovered and are doing well

Hi Eduardo

This is one of the most touching pieces I have ever read coming from an 8 year old kid. It shows what a great opinion she has of you and - coming from someone so small - its genuineness and truthfulness rings through. You are lucky to have such a wonderful grand daughter. Leonard

Leo,

that was what move me, you know they love you, but when it's put into words the impact is greater, because there is nothing like the written word. thanks for stopping by, Cheers to you!

I agree with Linda - this needs printed out and framed. You know what would be cool? Get one of those frames that you can make yourself, and let Isabelle decorate it - makes it all the more meaningful. Hope you're well on the mend, my friend. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- - "Everyone needs believe in something.
