Impressionist

Palm against palm
pushing hard,
yours against mine
brings forth
landscapes to the
edges of our minds.
Under star-strewn
skies, we cast
our footprints
on rippled dune
scattering our dreams
onto life's canvas
under brilliance
of crystal moon.
Reverberating
across seas,
and echoing
amongst the clouds
they bounce back
to touch the hearts
of mankind,
as we share the
impressions of
our art.

This is a beautiful one Janice. Well written and very open to interpretation as to what "art" you mean. *S* Loved it. love this...

Hi Janice, Love the lyrical tone of this & the sibilance and alliteration of key words...sounds lovely. I especially loved the line...'scattering our dreams onto life's canvas'... The theme of individuals making their unique art, interacting with nature...inspired writing! Regards, Ellie.

You just get better and better. I love how this was written. It took a lot of work and time to leave this open for all of us to insert ourself into the appropriate spot.... Poet..... Artist.... Aren’t poets always
