Love By the River

Love By the River

A small cabin by the river
I stood along the shoreline
As the light of the moon cascades
Across shallow waters
Watching salmon leap
Biting at the moon

The firm grip of his sensuous hands
Caress my supple skin
Tossed into his arms
Our lovelock eyes quivering lips
Pursue kisses long and passionate
Burly knees lost its purpose

In the shadows of the night, our tangle bodies burn with desire
As passion Sussarate our love flowing as a river

Oops, didn't mean to peek

This is another beautiful write Barbara. Like Leonard, "Watching salmon leap, biting at the moon" captivated me. Great image. Respectfully, Rett: "Two things stand in the way of a liberal doing what he thinks is best for people. One, he doesn't have enough power and two, we have too much freedom. If he figures out how to overcome either then we are in real trouble." Rett

wow

If that ain't beautiful, I don't know what is. I echo the salmon and moon statements - what a line. Great job! Rett - never pictured you as the voyeur type.... lol! ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- "If you've ever emptied the back of your pickup truck by driving backward really fast and slamming on the brakes, you might be a redneck" - Jeff Foxworthy Bill Engvall: "that's how we moved"
