EVIL RESIDES IN YOU
EVIL RESIDES IN YOU
Evil resides
in the corner
of that charnel-house
you call your
heart.
Wickedness must die
and your seed must wither;
her blame, your guilt.
Strange indeed
how love so
particular in other ways,
will accommodate there,
perhaps even fall asleep-
to be woken with
vicious , drunken words
making despair.
For in the very kernal
of that kindly love is
embedded the
perpetuity
of evil.
