GRANDPA WAS RIGHT
GRANPA WAS RIGHT Grandpa once said to meWhen the winds toss the canoeI should not come out to peepWhat he said entered one earAnd came out of the other When the wind blew hardAnd tossed the canoe up and downThis canoe in the sea of lifeI came out in defiance to lookO! Grandpa was right I saw the wind riding the stormChanging into human hurricaneWhirlwind in destructive spreeThe wind has neither friend nor foeO! Grandpa was right Roofs flew from houses like birdsThe wind rocked the canoe harder,Higher than Kilimanjaro, it crestedTidal waves carried me into the seaO! Grandpa was right
