Had my attention then got lost

The last two stanzas seems somehow confusing. Not sure what happened there. Respectfully, Rett: "Two things stand in the way of a liberal doing what he thinks is best for people. One, he doesn't have enough power and two, we have too much freedom. If he figures out how to overcome either then we are in real trouble." Rett

The truth about the poem.

1. It was sometime back when I began to like melodies for her poems. She was the head of the pirates chocolate eating group. A miss understanding and I moved away to avoid. Then one day she posted a contest named shipwrecked. 2. In real life I was riding a scooter in a crowed place and a rickshaw banged into me from behind. I looked back in anger and the rickshaw puller said you should have watched you back. People who heard started to laugh and I too laughed to his silly remark. The above points in mind I constructed the poem. In short: It was the land that rammed the ship and the captain melodies(Also song here)issued chocolates to enjoy, while I helmsman.....
