who knew

breakfast could be such an inspiration? Amazing write - I'll never look at eggs the same way. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- "If you've ever emptied the back of your pickup truck by driving backward really fast and slamming on the brakes, you might be a redneck" - Jeff Foxworthy Bill Engvall: "that's how we moved"

Lol

Can you imagine I don't eat eggs or onions. It was a contest, with a nude picture curving up in body and the idea came to me. There is another poem 'Bedlam" on the same picture. And the judge asked me to remove one from the two in her contest. If I did not remove one in five minutes she would ban me. I felt bad and removed both with a ban that I would never enter her contest. Thank God someone likes the poem. Only problem here is you cant post many poems and no real contests; like, at all poetry. Any way, I learn the ways available here.

Thanks

It gives me pleasure to see someone liking the word usage and thoughts behind the words. How wonderful it is to know someone appreciates your hard work. Thanks again.

Wow nature, just decided to catch up on your work

when I saw you kindly provided a translation for asif, sorry not sooner, its hard to keep up! Love this, so sensual, strangely delicious. A very effective write. Imagine how hard it would be to respond to everyone's poetry if we didn't have the one post a day rule! That's why it's there. We like to keep it personal here. cheers, Jess

Hi, you sensual man

I'm really not sure if you are just being sensual about a fried egg or if you are describing love-making-while-cooking or whatever. But it's interesting. I agree with weirdelf about the one day rule. I participate in another blog where there is no such rule and it's impossible to keep up with all the new work that floods in there each hour. Best Wishes, Robert.

Excellent

I gotta get my wife to read this one...cuz making breakfast together won't ever be the same! But seriously, what an amazing way to describe the simple act of cooking an egg. original, vivid, unforgettable. 5 stars.
